New York Attorney General Letitia James has retained Munger, Tolles & Olson in a $1 million contract to advise her office on legal issues regarding two civil rights probes in the city.

Documents acquired through a public information request from the New York state comptroller stipulate a one-year contract with the law firm to “address (Justice Department) subpoenas through motion practice or the provision of documents,” according to Law.com.

Munger Tolles, which generated $376 million in revenue last year, will represent James’ office in cases involving President Donald Trump and the National Rifle Association.

The contract, signed Aug. 5, offers a discount that charges between $1,128 and $1,650 per hour for partner work, between $740 and $895 for associates and $400 for paralegals.
