Kaizer Chiefs are known to be hunting for a new striker. Siyabonga Nomvethe has a suggestion.

    KNOX MUTIZWA FOR KAIZER CHIEFS

Despite 63 goals and 23 assists in 231 games for Golden Arrows, the 31-year-old Zimbabwean striker has been released by the Durban giants for ill-discipline. According to Nomvethe, Kaizer Chiefs should grab the opportunity.

“Mutizwa is a good striker and a perfect match for Kaizer Chiefs,” Nomvethe told KickOff.

“You can see how Golden Arrows have struggled in his absence; I wouldn’t mind if Chiefs signed him.

“Mutizwa is a quality striker who knows how to score. Chiefs should sign him now. At 31, he should be at the peak of his career, and his experience could greatly benefit Kaizer Chiefs.

“You can have young players, but in certain situations, a lack of experience can hinder the conversion of scoring opportunities.

“As a Kaizer Chiefs player, you need to work hard because it’s a big club. Playing for Chiefs is not a vacation; you have to perform well. Scoring goals is the only way to keep Kaizer Chiefs supporters happy.

“Mutizwa’s awareness inside the box can help Kaizer Chiefs immensely. He is clinical, he understands the game, and when he wants to score, he often does. He is a talented striker who isn’t greedy and can capitalize on even the smallest chances to find the net,” Nomvethe concluded.
