“An hour’s flight from Ho Chi Minh City, Quy Nhon delivers some of Vietnam’s most beautiful beaches, all blissfully uncrowded,” Tripadvisor wrote.

“Plan to spend 80 percent of your time doing nothing, and use the other 20 percent exploring the region’s Cham-era temple towers and chowing down on fresh seafood,” it recommended.

Nestled between mountains and the sea, Quy Nhon is known for its curved beaches and turquoise waters.

The city is home to Nhon Hai fishing village with rugged shores and coral reefs, and Ky Co, a crescent-shaped beach framed by cliffs. Ancient Cham towers and temples also draw visitors seeking history and culture.

Local food adds to Quy Nhon’s appeal, with specialties such as fish cake noodle soup, banh xeo (crispy shrimp pancakes) and banh hoi chao long (rice vermicelli with pork offal), as well as seafood prepared in local style.

The 2026 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best Destinations are calculated based on the quality and quantity of reviews, specific to each award subcategory, for accommodations, restaurants, and things to do in destinations from travelers globally on Tripadvisor between Oct. 1, 2024 through Sept. 30, 2025.

The awards highlight travelers’ favorite destinations, helping people plan unforgettable trips and discover the world’s best experiences.
