    From classics to supercars, expect a rare, one-day-only automotive showcase in the heart of the city

    It’s rare to walk anywhere in Dubai without spotting a supercar or a good ol’ classic car. And when you do, you can’t help but let out a ‘wow’ gazing at the steel beauties. If you’re a fan of cars, then consider heading over to Safa Park on Sunday, February 15, for the Grand Picnic, where you will be surrounded by these jaw-dropping four-wheelers.

    It’s hosted by Flat12 Cafe (the very same cafe in Dubai Maritime City) that showcases a rotating collection of heritage motors and iconic sports cars.

    The picnic once again takes over the lush green grounds of Safa Park, transforming the space into a paradise for car enthusiasts, food lovers, and even families seeking a truly unique day out.

    At the venue, you can feast your eyes on classic cars, sports cars, supercars, and even motorcycles and trucks.

    Last year saw over 1,000 cars on display, and there are going to be even more this year. From vintage icons to modern machines, expect rows of automotive history displayed bonnet-to-bonnet, with their car owners. 

    Alongside the parked cars, food takes centre stage with a carefully curated line-up of homegrown favourites. Expect to tuck into bites from The Picnic Society by GOAT, Burnt Butter, Home Bakery, Pie Planet, Minimelts, Temple, Trio, Knot, Flat12, Orto, FLTR, Food Babies and so much more. 

    Bringing the whole family? For kids, there’s dedicated Ferrari-themed activation and live music to keep the vibes alive throughout the day.

    The cost to check out a cool event? Dhs3 per person, and this is just for park entry. Children under the age of 2 can enter for free.

    And yes, the actual event is free to attend.
