Di prayers dey come afta Ogogo daughters bin enta social media to announce say dia papa dey battle cancer and make Nigerians recommend wia e fit get treatment as hospitals don refuse to give am chemotherapy.
Ogogo bin trend on Monday, 17 August and Tuesday afta im daughter Kira Taiwo cry for video wey don dey go viral on social media say im papa bin dey struggle wit stage 4 cancer.
“I no want my papa to die,” dis na some of di words from Kira for di viral video as she say hospitals wey dem carry her papa go, no gree treat am again.
She bin ask di public if dem know anybody or facility wey fit treat her papa to reach out to dem.
“I dey hia to ask for help for my papa, im get cancer and e dey really really bad. Many hospitals no gree treat am, at least, abeg make una give dis man chance.
“Nobody wan do anytin, we no dey ask for money, if you know pesin wey know pesin wey fit treat am, make una help,” she tok.
Following di announcement, plenty pipo don say dem fit heal am as dem offer dia assistance both spiritually and traditionally.
However, one of di leaders for di industry, Jide Kosoko for one statement appeal to fans, colleagues and well-wishers to continue to dey pray for di ogbonge actor, as e give update on Ogogo health.
E say currently Ogogo dey receive treatment for hospital and dem no fit move am to anoda facility despite offers of spiritual and medical assistance.
“We don see and receive many of your messages, prayers, encouragement, and offers of assistance, and we wan say thank you to you all. “We dey deeply grateful to everyone wey don volunteer to assist us spiritually, medically, and in evri oda way possible. We particularly appreciate dos wey don reach out to say dem get spiritual assistance, treatment, or oda means dem believe fit help am.”
Kosoko acknowledge say dem don receive hundreds of offers from pipo wey believe say dem fit heal am, however, dem beg evribody to continue to dey pray for am.
“We believe strongly say wit your prayers, our prayers, and di mercy of Almighty God, Taye go come out of dis situation successfully,” e add.
According to Kira wey break di news of her papa health, di cancer just begin show and na three weeks ago dem diagnose am of di life-threatening disease.
“We bin no even know untill like three weeks ago, so abeg, I dey beg una, if you know pesin wey know anoda pesin wey go fit treat am, we dey ready to try anytin, abeg we no dey hia to ask for money.”
She add say her papa dey suffer from stage four cancer and her big uncle na im dey help wit di hospital bills since dem notice say im get cancer.
