Looking for a little peace and quiet to read a book? These reading spots are made for slow mornings and page-turning afternoons

Whether you’re working your way through the latest bestseller, revisiting an old favourite or simply looking for a quiet moment away, finding the right spot can make all the difference. From cosy cafés lined with bookshelves to peaceful libraries and creative spaces, these are the quietest places in Dubai to read a book.

    The Lighthouse

Part café, part concept store, The Lighthouse is one of Dubai’s most stylish spots to settle in with a good book. Located in Dubai Design District, the space is filled with natural light, thoughtful interiors and shelves lined with beautifully curated titles covering everything from food to design. Order a coffee, find a quiet corner and enjoy a few uninterrupted chapters in one of the city’s most inspiring settings.

    Foundry

Blending art, culture and coffee under one roof, Foundry is a hidden gem for book lovers in Downtown Dubai. The creative space is home to a dedicated library area and a tucked-away reading pod upstairs, making it an ideal spot to switch off from the city and get lost in a good book. Between chapters, you can also browse the latest exhibitions or enjoy a speciality coffee from the café.
