Dreams don’t sleep – they toss and turn in res, taxi rides, midnight side hustles, and starlit prayers. On 4 October 2025, those restless dreams come alive at Constitution Hill as the YouthX Festival returns with its most powerful theme yet: ‘Dreams don’t sleep.’

YX25 is not just a festival – it’s a collective awakening. It’s where dreamers, dancers, doers, poets and programmers breathe life into their visions. With Nedbank as the gateway, the festival celebrates youth who are loud, bold, and original.

At the heart of YX25 is the YouthX Awards – a powerful tribute to honour the power and potential of 10 young South Africans doing extraordinary things and creating change across industries and communities. On the YX25 stage, 1 youth will be crowned the official 2025 YouthX Awards winner, taking their place among South Africa’s brightest trailblazers.

More than music, more than vibes, YX25 is a 12-hour shutdown that blurs the lines between hustle and play.

Music lovers are also in for a treat with an exciting line-up of South Africa’s best music talent, including hitmakers such as DJ Maphorisa, Focalistic, Mellow & Sleazy, Shekinah, Shamiso, Sun-El Musician, and global rap star Nasty C. Fan favourites DJ 1D and Omagoqa will also bring their energy to the stage, with media personalities Primo9Teen and Lula Odiba returning as hosts to keep the vibe buzzing all day.

‘At Nedbank, we understand that dreams demand more than inspiration – they require support, visibility and a platform. YouthX is that platform. Through YX25, we continue to honour the energy and excellence of South Africa’s youth, those who refuse to sleep on their visions,’ says John Makgato, Head of Youth Segment Strategy and Client Value Proposition at Nedbank.

Over the years, YouthX has grown into a cultural movement, uplifting youth, celebrating resilience, and amplifying the limitless power of dreams. YX25 continues this legacy by creating a stage where music, culture, and ambition converge.

Whether you’re a dreamer, a dancer, or a doer, YX25 is your space to belong and be seen. Don’t miss your chance to be part of a festival that inspires the youth and elevates the voices of the future. Get your YX25 tickets via webtickets.co.za. If you’re a Nedbank client with a valid debit or credit card account, get ahead of the crowd and grab your YX25 tickets early with a massive 50% off. Don’t sleep on this – come #UnlockYourX.
