At Rhino Africa, we believe exploring our continent should also help drive meaningful change. As the season of gratitude approaches, our hearts are full thanks to our community of discerning guests, partners, and friends. Your passion for Africa has enabled us not only to craft extraordinary safari experiences but to ensure they become a force for tangible, lasting good. This collective spirit positions us as leaders in both luxury travel and responsible tourism that leaves a genuine legacy across Africa, with every journey you book helping to propel the crucial work of our Impact Partners.

Your African travel spreads hope and happiness

    An Investment in Africa’s Future

When you choose to travel with us, you’re not just booking a holiday; you’re actively investing in Africa’s future. Why is this? Well, your safari empowers a connection between luxury African travel and vital conservation and community upliftment initiatives. And this connection is what we call the “book a trip, change a life” flywheel.

    The Good Work Foundation

Over the years, this incredible support from our guests has driven remarkable outcomes. Through your commitment to Africa, we’ve supported the Good Work Foundation (GWF), a South African non-profit dedicated to unleashing potential in rural areas through world-class, digitally-powered education.

With varied programmes and courses offered to multiple age groups, the GWF creates pathways to employment in conservation and hospitality fields, as well as providing access to and education in technology.

Your travel booking helps keep these important programmes going, supporting the registration of more than 10,000 young learners in their digital learning campuses. Here, they learn vital skills through 21st-century “languages of access”, namely digital literacy, English, and self-creativity. They’re also supported through career training to help them fulfil their full potential.

    Click Learning

Similarly, your journeys to Africa empower us to support Click Learning, a non-profit organisation dedicated to educating communities across southern Africa.

In particular, they help young children gain the skills required to read for meaning and other foundational skills needed to set them on the path to better education and greater possibilities.

    Wildlife ACT

Become a custodian of Africa’s wild spaces by actively contributing to Wildlife ACT’s crucial conservation work. A team of experienced conservationists focused on bringing endangered and threatened wildlife back from the brink of extinction. Your support helps fund their science-led conservation and monitoring efforts for species such as the black rhino, African wild dog, cheetah, and vulture populations.

Furthermore, an initiative like the Tracker Academy professionalises the ancient skills of African tracking, creating formal employment pathways and strengthening African conservation capacity by preserving indigenous knowledge.

Khumbulani Health, Education and Resource Centre

Your dream holiday in Africa also helps make others’ dreams come true. It strengthens families and communities most in need, such as those supported by Khumbulani Health, Education and Resource Centre, a haven in Khayelitsha that provides community care, education, and nutrition for HIV-infected and -affected children.

What began in a two-bedroom home has flourished into a strong organisation, and your support helps feed and educate approximately 350 children daily.

Driving Momentum: Our Shared Goals for Tomorrow

We refuse to stand still because we know that by working together, we can save energy, move faster, and go further. That’s why, over the next 12–24 months, we’re firmly focused on scaling our current successes to achieve even greater, measurable outcomes for the causes closest to our hearts.

We aim to significantly expand the number of learners accessing scholarships and digital literacy programmes with the GWF, building a bridge to the digital era for thousands of rural young people. This is part of our belief that education is a powerful force for shaping Africa’s future. The planned opening of additional campuses excites us and will help expand the footprint of impact in and around the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve in South Africa.

    Your Hand in It All

You help us increase our backing for Wildlife ACT’s anti-poaching and endangered species monitoring efforts, providing crucial resources for on-the-ground protection of species like the desert-adapted black rhino.

Our goal is also to expand placement and employment opportunities for the Tracker Academy’s graduates, creating more sustainable livelihoods and strengthening African conservation capacity. The Rhino Renaissance is a notable example of how we’re actively rewriting the future of some of Africa’s most threatened species.

We’ll continue to strengthen relationships with organisations like Khumbulani, providing consistent, reliable support to strengthen families and communities most in need. Furthermore, we’ll remain committed to transparent reporting on the progress and outcomes of these goals, keeping you connected to the life-changing impact you’re helping to create.

Your Legacy: How to Join Our Journey

Your next African safari has the power to shape the future of this continent, leaving a profound legacy. We invite you to join our journey and continue to be one of the protectors (and uplifters) of Africa’s wild spaces and its people.

You can start by simply booking your next bespoke African journey with us and sharing the incredible stories of the GWF, Click Learning, Wildlife ACT, and Khumbulani to help amplify their message and reach.

And what’s more, a portion of your tailor-made trip directly supports our Impact Partners, turning your travel experience into life-changing support. This impact is not a destination; it’s an ongoing journey. And in the words of our CEO and Founder, David Ryan: “We are because of you, and we extend our deepest thanks: Thank you, thank you, thank you.”

Ready to discuss how your dream safari can drive positive impact in Africa? Contact us, and let’s start planning your adventure.
