If you usually breeze past new app updates, consider this your friendly nudge to pause for a second and take a look at what Deliveroo has just rolled out.

The online food delivery platform has expanded its offering, transforming the dining experience in Dubai with the launch of Deliveroo Reservations – a new in-app feature powered by SevenRooms that lets users discover and book restaurant tables directly through the Deliveroo app.

If you already know where you want to dine, simply use the search bar and lock in a reservation in just a few minutes. Or, if you’re in browsing mode, scroll through hundreds of restaurants across the city and explore everything from relaxed cafés and casual neighbourhood spots to polished fine dining destinations.

To mark the launch, Deliveroo is adding a tasty little incentive to the mix, giving diners one more reason to step out and book a table.

During the launch period, diners who attend a reservation booked through the app will receive Dhs50 in Deliveroo credits, which can be used on future orders. Think of it as a little reward for doing what you were probably going to do anyway – going out to eat. Hard to say no to that.

The newly launched feature also makes it easy to explore Dubai’s dining scene, with users able to scroll through some of the city’s most iconic restaurants and in-demand tables.

You’ll be able to view available dates and time slots, select the number of guests, and confirm your booking in just a few taps.

Craving something specific? A handy dropdown menu lets you filter by cuisine, making it even easier to land exactly what you’re in the mood for.

Once you’re done, you’ll be able to review your reservation and even add special requests.

The new feature is already live on the app – consider this your sign to start planning your next table.
