The World Trade Organization has released the 2026 edition of World Tariff Profiles, a comprehensive annual publication that provides detailed information on tariffs and non-tariff measures imposed by over 150 economies. This publication is a collaborative effort with the International Trade Centre and the UN Trade and Development organization.

The report presents tables that list the average “bound” tariffs, which are the maximum tariffs committed under WTO rules, alongside the tariffs actually applied by each member. The data is categorized into “all products” and is further broken down into agricultural products and non-agricultural products. One-page profiles are provided for each economy, offering more detailed tariff information with a breakdown of tariffs by product group. Additionally, each profile indicates the tariffs each economy faces when exporting to its major trading partners.

A separate section of the report focuses on non-tariff measures, providing statistics on anti-dumping measures, countervailing measures, and safeguards undertaken by each economy. Non-tariff measures are also listed by product group, offering a more detailed view of the measures in place. The data from the report can also be accessed through the WTO Stats portal, providing an alternative means of exploring the information.

The 2026 edition of World Tariff Profiles was published on June 29, and French and Spanish editions of the report will be available for download in July. The full publication can be downloaded, and users can also share the report with others. The report is a valuable resource for those looking to understand the complex landscape of international trade and the various measures in place to regulate it.
