Liberty Global Tech Ventures, the technology investment arm of Liberty Global, today announced an investment in Higgsfield, an AI video and image creation platform for creators, brands, agencies and studios.

Higgsfield has grown rapidly to $700m annualised revenue since launching its browser-based video platform in 2025. The company powers visual production for 390 of the Fortune 500 companies and is used by more than 30 million users across 238 countries and territories.

Liberty Global joins a select group of institutional investors – including DST Global, Goldman Sachs, Menlo Ventures, and Accel – alongside strategic investors like Intel in the $400m funding round. Liberty Global’s selection reflects the strategic value it brings through its global technology footprint and experience scaling digital platforms.

Global spending on digital advertising is forecast to top $1.1t by 2030, with video and image creation, a crucial part of the ecosystem, set to be reshaped by AI.

Higgsfield’s enterprise customer base spans broadcasting, financial services, advertising and retail with these users driving more than 20 million content generations per month, a 42-fold increase following the rollout of its Supercomputer Agent in May 2026.

    Liberty Global’s AI Investment Strategy

Liberty Global Tech Ventures is part of Liberty Growth, Liberty Global’s investment portfolio focused on scalable technology, media, sports, services and infrastructure. The Tech Ventures team invests in category-defining AI and technology businesses which operate in large markets with management teams who have proven ability to launch and commercialise products.

Ankur Prakash, Partner at Liberty Global Tech Ventures, said: “This is a continuation of our strategy of investing in the best technology and people in sectors that are being disrupted by AI technology. Higgsfield is the undoubted market leader in AI video and image creation and already boast some of the world’s largest brands and creative agencies amongst its clientele.”
