METRO FM’s popular relationship feature, Ask A Man, is making the leap from radio to television.

The much-loved segment, which has kept listeners talking for years, is coming to S3, where <a href="https://absafricatv.com/amazon-leo-partners-herotel-to-launch-satellite-internet-service-in-south-africa/” title=”Amazon Leo Partners Herotel to Launch Satellite Internet Service in South Africa”>South Africans will have the chance to share their real-life relationship stories with a wider audience.

It’s currently onBreakaway with Khutso Theledion Metro FM weekdays.

Khutso Theledi does the segment with the help of Somizi and Naked DJ.

SABC marketing manager: video entertainment Dichaba Phalatse said the television version aims to continue creating a safe space for honest conversations.

“As S3, we believe the most powerful conversations begin with real people and real experiences.

“Ask A Man has already earned the trust of audiences on METRO FM by creating a space for honest dialogue around relationships and life’s complexities,” she said.

Dichaba said bringing the format to television would allow those conversations to reach even more people.

“We invite viewers to tell their stories because every story has the power to help someone else feel seen, understood and inspired,” he said.

METRO FM acting business manager Siyanda Fikelephi said the feature had become much more than just another radio segment.

“For years, METRO FM has held space for honest conversations about dating, heartbreak, marriage and family. Ask A Man became more than a feature – it became a trusted relationship with our audience,” he said.

Siyanda said the move to television would give South Africans another platform to share their experiences anonymously.

“As it evolves into a television format on S3, we’re giving South Africans a platform to share their stories anonymously and gain perspective,” he said.

The broadcaster is now calling on people across Mzansi to submit their personal relationship stories.

The hosts and broadcast date will be announced soon.
