Egyptian Healthcare Startup Anees Health Raises Seed Funding To Expand Care
Egyptian healthcare startup Anees Health has raised an undisclosed seed round to expand its integrated care model across Greater Cairo.
Founded in 2025, the company coordinates physician-led care for older adults, people with chronic conditions, patients recovering from illness and those undergoing rehabilitation, combining medical, nursing, physiotherapy and pharmacy services under one care plan.
Anees Health has delivered more than 1,000 medical and care services since launch, with about 70% of patients continuing into extended care plans. Its technology platform uses the HL7 FHIR standard to maintain shared electronic health records across care teams.
The startup plans to use the new funding to expand its geriatric medicine and care coordination teams, strengthen clinical and operational systems, extend its Greater Cairo coverage and improve post-discharge coordination with hospitals. It is targeting more than 20,000 visits in 2027.
