    Bimpe Akintunde Accepts Apology, Issues Stern Warning Over Her Child

    Nollywood actress Bimpe Akintunde has responded to a public apology from her colleague and entrepreneur, Folake Flakkyfaj, following a social media controversy.

    Folake had criticised Bimpe for posting her daughter online while also expressing a desire to keep the child’s face private. The comment didn’t sit down well and led to controversy on social media.

    Following the backlash, Folake deleted the post and issued an apology, Bimpe accepted it but issued a strong warning. She stated that while she could tolerate personal attacks, she would not allow anyone to drag her child into controversy.

    She warned anyone who had saved or shared the image to take it down immediately, adding that her legal team is monitoring the situation.

    She wrote::
    “APOLOGY ACCEPTED BUT……
    You can call me whatever names you like, say whatever you want about me, but keep my child out of it.

    My child is my life, my reason, my everything. I have ignored a lot on social media, but this is where I draw the line. I will not sit back and watch anyone drag an innocent child into controversy for clout, attention, or careless talk. It is unacceptable.

    The original post has been deleted, but let this serve as a FINAL WARNING to anyone who has saved, shared, reposted, or is thinking of reusing that image in any form: TAKE IT DOWN IMMEDIATELY.

    My legal team is actively monitoring this situation, and we will not hesitate to take firm legal action against any individual or platform that continues to circulate or reproduce that content. No excuses. No second chances.

    Respect boundaries. Protect children. Be responsible.

    Thank you to my legal team for your swift action, and to my lovers, family, and friends both online and offline for standing with me. Your support means everything.”
