South African actor Ama Qamata dazzled as she walked the Le Défilé runway at Paris Fashion Week on Monday.
Qamata, who is the L’Oréal Paris Sub-Saharan Africa ambassador, walked the catwalk at the Place Joffre, with the Eiffel Tower as a backdrop for the ninth edition of the brand’s annual show, themed “Express Your Worth”. This was the 28-year-old’s second outing after making her debut in September 2025.
TheBlood & Water actor joined fellow ambassadors Viola Davis, Kendall Jenner, Jane Fonda, Cara Delevingne, Eva Longoria and Kristen Bell with a surprise performance by Celine Dion, who recently made her music comeback.

Upon being announced as a brand ambassador, Qamata told TRUELOVE in an interview last year that she “wanted to represent Africa on a global scale.”
“So, to have a global brand actually recognise my brand and say, ‘We want to partner with you’. It just all aligns, and it feels like it’s just something that I manifested and actually intentionally put into the universe. I actually want to get these kinds of opportunities,” she said.
Qamata follows in the footsteps of fellow actor Thuso Mbedu as L’Oréal Paris’s Sub-Saharan Africa ambassador.
