No more pine needles everywhere, time to send the Christmas tree for recycling in Dubai

Christmas is over, 2026 has started and you’re probably starting to take down your decorations and give your house a good spring clean. While you’re hoovering those pine needles, you may be wondering how to dispose of your real Christmas tree in Dubai for recycling and we have the answer.

    Dubai Municipality

Dubai residents can arrange green waste collection through Dubai Municipality. Garden and green waste, including organic plant material such as natural Christmas trees, can be collected as part of municipal services. See more info here or call them on 800 900

    ReLoop App

The ReLoop App does a Christmas tree collection service in Dubai and turns your old trees into compost. You can easily download the app, a few clicks, and your Christmas tree is brought for recycling in Dubai, it’s good for the environment too so you’ll be doing your bit for the planet.

    Spinneys and Waitrose

Drop your real tree to any Spinneys or Waitrose store before January 15  and they’ll take care of it. They’ve partnered with Al Ma Organic Fertilizer Industries and Recycling LLC to offer a completely free Christmas tree recycling service, just make sure it has no decorations.

    Kibsons

Kibsons are offering a collection service for Christmas trees that were bought in their stores. It will cost you Dhs50 for collection according to a customer service representative for Kibsons. You can’t drop them off though so make sure you just organise collection by logging in through their website.
