Creative director, international talent manager and founder of DV Talent Management, Daisy Thato Selebogo, has been honoured with the Outstanding Contribution to Creative Talent Management and African Entertainment Leadership award at the Cleveland Media Awards in Spain.
The recognition marks another milestone in Selebogo’s career as a creative and entertainment professional whose work spans Botswana, South Africa and international markets.
Selebogo, who combines experience in technology, business, creativity and entertainment, has built a reputation for developing talent and creating commercial opportunities for African artists through strategic partnerships, media exposure and international engagements.
Through DV Talent Management, she has worked to connect African creatives with brands, global audiences, touring opportunities and industry stakeholders, helping artists expand beyond local markets.
Her career has involved collaborations with established African entertainers and brands, including Red Bull, Red Bull Racing, CA Sales, Choppies and Steers, while supporting projects across Africa, the United Kingdom and Europe.
The Cleveland Media Awards said the recognition reflected her contribution to the wider creative ecosystem and her efforts to strengthen the professional management and global positioning of African talent.
Selebogo’s work extends beyond traditional artist management, focusing on the intersection of talent, brands, media, technology and international business.
Her experience includes managing the career development of artists such as William Last KRM, working with Veezo View in talent management and artist development, managing South African artist Notshi Killah-Bee and serving as road manager for Masterpiece YVK’s European tour.
She has also participated in international entertainment projects involving Sun-El Musician and worked alongside the teams of King Kanja and Bobby V during their 2025 United Kingdom tour, gaining experience in international touring, artist coordination and cross-border entertainment operations.
Beyond artist management, Selebogo has built professional relationships across the global creative industry, including a connection with Tuma Basa, former YouTube executive and digital music industry leader.
The award comes as Selebogo continues to expand DV Talent Management with a focus on creating sustainable commercial opportunities for African talent and connecting artists with global brands, platforms and audiences.
Industry observers say the recognition highlights the growing importance of talent managers and creative professionals who are building the structures and partnerships needed for African artists to compete on the global stage.
