    Dinokeng Game Reserve

    Located just outside Pretoria, the Dinokeng Game Reserve promises sightings of the Big Five, as well as other animal species. It offers the opportunity to enjoy a wildlife experience without heading too far away from the city. Undoubtedly, the reserve is the ideal place to appreciate the beauty of nature, making it perfect for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts alike.

    Zoo Lake

    The popular Walter Sisulu National Botanical Gardens offer 300 hectares of lushness and serenity. Over 600 plant species form a backdrop of various hiking trails. There are also 220 bird species, as well as reptiles and some other small mammals. The gardens are perfect for animal lovers and those who appreciate admiring the breathtaking beauty of nature.

    The Wilds Nature Reserve

    Located on the outskirts of Houghton, The Wilds Nature Reserve boasts calming natural beauty. The 16-hectare nature reserve offers exceptional hillside views and evergreen freshness. There are numerous hiking trails and walking routes. Moreover, the green manicured lawns are the perfect place to sit and enjoy a picnic or engage in some nature journaling.
