African Safari Wildlife Park will offer free general admission to all current members and veterans of the U.S. military July 1-4 in recognition of Independence Day

Military members and veterans can enjoy a free safari adventure at the park with a valid U.S. military identification card

General admission includes access to the Drive-Thru Safari, Walk-Thru Safari, daily educational animal programs and one free cup of grain for the vehicle’s first trip through the Drive-Thru Safari, according to the attraction

“As we celebrate Independence Day, we are reminded of the sacrifices made by the men and women who have served our country,” said Kelsey Keller, chief operating officer of African Safari Wildlife Park, in a statement. “This is one small way we can show our appreciation and invite military members, veterans and their families to enjoy a fun day at the Park.”

During the Drive-Thru Safari, guests can feed giraffes, zebras, bison and many more animals from the comfort of their own vehicle

Guests also can explore the Walk-Thru Safari, which features additional animal exhibits, interactive experiences, and educational programs

African Safari Wildlife Park is offering a limited-time July 4 ticket sale, with general admission tickets available online for $22.95 per person, a savings of $14 per ticket, the release said

Discounted tickets may be used any day during the Park’s 2026 season

The Ohio Safari Park, African Safari Wildlife Park, is located at 267 S. Lightner Road in Port Clinton
