    Nigeria’s music scene is advancing rapidly. New artists emerge every few months on TikTok, Spotify, and street playlists, quickly gaining widespread recognition. These are not the traditional superstars but emerging talents driving the future of Afrobeats, street pop, and Afro fusion

    The Nigerian music industry is no longer only about big names; it’s also about discovery. Many of today’s biggest stars were once unknown, just as these artists are now. Social media, streaming platforms, and street influence are pushing new talent faster than ever

    Here are 10 Nigerian talents currently buzzing online and gaining serious attention:

    1. Ayo Maff

    Ayorinde Mafoluku Ayodele, popularly known as Ayo Maff, was born on 18 July 2005

    He is a Nigerian singer and songwriter who gained recognition with his single “Dealer”, featuring Fireboy DML, which topped various music charts

    His debut extended play, Maffian, was released on 15 August 2024

    2. Shoday

    Shodade Solomon Segun, popularly known as Shoday, is a Nigerian Afrobeat singer and songwriter, currently signed to Canny Consults and 5K Records, a subsidiary of Sony Music UK

    He rose to fame with his debut single, “Caution”, which earned him his first-ever TCSN Nigeria Gold certification

    He gained international recognition with his 2026 single “Paparazzi” with Fola, which peaked at number 1 on the Nigeria Top 100, number 7 on the U.S. Afrobeats chart, and number 12 on the UK Afrobeats chart

    3. Fola

    Folarin Odunlami, popularly known as Fola, was born on April 26, 1999, in Lagos, where he was raised. He is a Nigerian singer and songwriter

    He rose to fame in 2022 following the release of his song “Ginger Me”, featuring Bella Shmurda, which earned him critical acclaim

    He signed with Dangbana Republik and released his debut extended play, What a Feeling, in 2024

    4. TML Vibez

    Timileyin Sulaimon, popularly known as TML Vibez, is an Afrobeats singer and songwriter from Ifako Ijaiye, Lagos State

    He gained national recognition after signing with Vibez Inc, the record label owned by Seyi Vibez

    TML Vibez broke into the spotlight with songs like “Goated” featuring Seyi Vibez, “365,” “Grateful Sinner,” “Bandana,” and “Duro.”

    His emotional lyrics, melodic style, and street- inspired sound have made him one of the most promising young artists in Nigeria’ s music industry

    5. Famous Pluto

    Osahon Grandeur Uzama, popularly known as Famous Pluto, was born on August 14, 2005

    He is a Nigerian singer and songwriter, born and raised in Benin City. He signed with Shallipopi’ s Plutomania Records in 2025

    He rose to mainstream fame with the release of his debut single “Na Scra” that same year. Its success led to the release of his debut extended play, Uzama The 3 rd, in 2025

    6. Llona

    Michael Ajuma Attah, popularly known as Llona, was born on 14 December 1996

    He is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and performing artist

    He rose to fame with his debut album “Homeless”, which peaked at 11 on the Official Top 100 Albums TurnTable charts in Nigeria

    His sound and introspective mental- health lyricism were heavily influenced by Northern Nigerian culture during his formative years in Kano State

    7. Kaestyle

    Kelvin Ibinabo Oriye, popularly known as Kaestyle, was born on April 12, 1996. He is a singer, songwriter, and producer from Port Harcourt, Rivers State

    He is signed to KeyQaad, the record label that also introduced Omah Lay to the music scene. Kaestyle first gained attention after releasing “Stamina”, but he became widely recognised with the hit song “My Dealer” featuring Omah Lay, which trended across TikTok and major streaming platforms

    Other notable songs include “True Love,” “Moving bad,” and “How Much.”  With his smooth blend of Afrobeats and R & B, Kaestyle is regarded as one of Nigeria’ s most promising young music stars

    8. Rybeena

    Adewale Oluwaseun Atanda, popularly known as Rybeena, was born on September 11, 1999

    He is a Nigerian Afropop and street pop singer, born in Lagos State, with family roots in Abeokuta, Ogun State

    He is signed to Dapper Music & Entertainment, one of Nigeria’ s leading music labels for emerging artists. Rybeena gained nationwide attention with his viral hit “ID. ME “, a song that resonated with many young Nigerians for its honest storytelling

    He has also released popular songs such as “1999,” “Agba Singing,” “Wise 2. 2.0” featuring Olamide, and “Spaghetti “, cementing his place as one of the country’ s most exciting new artists

    9. Muyeez

    Mohammed Opeyemi Aborode, popularly known as Muyeez, is a fast- rising Afrobeats singer and songwriter, born on March 12, 2008

    He hails from Osun State, Nigeria, but grew up in Lagos State, where he began building his music career at a young age. Muyeeze is signed to Vibez Inc, a record label owned by Seyi Vibez, which has played a major role in pushing his music to a wider audience

    Muyeez gained attention on social media and streaming platforms, where his emotional voice and street-influenced Afro-fusion sound quickly caught listeners’ attention

    He became widely known for songs like “Instagram,” “Jama Jama,” and his “Trending” feature with other Vibez Inc. acts, which helped him gain massive online traction. His music often connects with young audiences due to its relatable lyrics and catchy melodies

    10. Zerrydl

    Divine Uzama, popularly known as Zerrydl, was born on December 4, 2002

    He is a Nigerian rapper and singer. He embarked on his musical career in 2015, sharing freestyles on social media

    He first gained major recognition in 2023 following the release of his single “Puff & Pass,” which marked his first entry on the TurnTable Top 100

    He signed with Plutomania Records to release his debut extended play, Danger Zee 2023

    The following year, he released the single “Back to Back,” marking his first Billboard appearance
