International Film Festival “Golden Tower” to showcase traditions of world’s peoples
The festival will feature a special screening of films from partners of the TV BRICS International Media Network
The 12th International Film Festival “Golden Tower” will bring together film enthusiasts in the Republic of Ingushetia (Russia) from 25 to 28 October 2026. Guests and participants can look forward to a packed programme, including intercultural dialogue.
The festival programme includes competitive screenings of feature films, documentaries and short films, as well as creative meetings and masterclasses led by renowned directors, producers and actors for young filmmakers. Festival screenings will take place in several cities across Ingushetia, offering audiences the chance to discover the work of filmmakers from around the world.
The festival winner will take home the top prize – a statuette in the shape of a golden tower, symbolising the region’s architecture.
TV BRICS will act as the event’s international media partner and will prepare a special prize for participants – the best films at the festival will be eligible for broadcast on the media network.
In addition, a special TV BRICS screening will be organised at the film festival, featuring films from the media network’s partners: “Whispers of the Wild”(India), “Charming Beijing!” (China), “Day of the Dead: Culture and Loyalty to Tradition” (Venezuela) and “Guardians of Caribbean Traditions” (Cuba).
The festival is held annually with the support of the regional Ministry of Culture. TV BRICS has been collaborating with the film festival since 2023.
