Jaguar Land Rover has announced the expansion of two partnerships to extend charging facilities and accessibility in Europe for customers of its battery-electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles.

From July 2026, buyers of Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles can use either the InControl Remote app or any future JLR apps to locate and pay monthly for more than 1 million public chargers throughout Europe, the company said in its July 14 release.

JLR is achieving this through its partnership with Berlin-based auto charging specialist <a href="https://digitalchargingsolutions.com/en/” rel=”nofollow noopener” target=”_blank”>Digital Charging Solutions, with a platform connected to hundreds of electric charging point operators across the U.K. and Europe.

Its BEV and PHEV customers will be able to filter for charger availability and speed in their chosen locations across 29 European countries, as well as pay for charging on a monthly basis.

After purchasing a new or used approved vehicle, these customers will be given a free branded charging card, enabling them to use any of the 1.1 million chargers. Existing clients can order a charging card from their retailer or

“Luxury clients expect quality and reliability in every aspect of vehicle ownership, and public charging is no exception,” said JLR’s director of charging and connected services, Mark Camilleri.

Meanwhile, the automaker group is also expanding its partnership with mapping specialist Here Technologies to help create more efficient charging experiences for EV and plug-in hybrid owners.

Here has already been delivering vehicle charging routing capabilities for JLR products. The new product will integrate JLR’s charging network into its EV Charge Point feature, reducing complexity and range anxiety, Here said in a July 14 release.

The EV Charge Point feature will be available to existing JLR EV and plug-in hybrid models built from 2020 onwards, as well as the upcoming Range Rover Electric, starting in Europe and to be followed by Australia and New Zealand.

“Our collaboration with Here ensures owners of existing Range Rover, Defender, and Discovery PHEV models, and Jaguar PHEV and BEV models, can conveniently locate the right chargers at a time and place that suits their lifestyle,” said Camilleri.
