    Kenya Kwanza
leaders stepped up their criticism of opposition figures on Friday, defending
President William Ruto’s administration as one focused on delivering
development and arguing that Kenyans are already benefiting from and
    appreciating its achievements

    Speaking during a
series of political rallies in Vihiga, Uasin Gishu and the Ukambani region, the
leaders urged Kenyans to dismiss opposition criticism and rally behind
President Ruto’s bid for a second term in office

    “Tunaelekea
Singapore, Singapore ni maendeleo…” said Speaker of the National
    Assembly Moses Wetangula

    President Ruto’s
aide, Farouk Kibet, added, “Watu wa Eldoret wameamua kwamba Ruto ni
    Tutam…”

    In Eldoret, Uasin
Gishu County, the politics of “Tutam” gathered momentum
with leaders insisting the administration’s development projects and
economic gains are evident and speak for themselves

    “Sisi watu wa
Pwani tumeamua ni William Ruto kwa sababu ya maendeleo,” Likoni MP Mishi Mboko said

    The leaders also
sustained attacks on the opposition, accusing its leaders of resorting to
ethnic politics and misinformation, challenging them to hold the
government to account based on its performance rather than political rhetoric

    “Hapa Eldoret
ni face of Kenya, kuna makabila yote… Yeyote anayeleta siasa za ukabila ni
    adui yetu…” Wetangula noted

    “Yule Wamunyoro
ameona moto ya Ruto hadi ameenda sabbatical,” Mishi Mboko added

    In Makueni County,
Public Service Cabinet Secretary Geoffrey Ruku continued the Kenya Kwanza
campaign trail, telling residents that the Ukambani region stands to benefit
from sustained development under President Ruto’s leadership

    “Sisi ni kitu
kimoja, tuhakikishe kwamba tunakaa ndani ya serikali ya William Ruto,” Ruku
    urged

    Kenya Kwanza
leaders also toured Navakholo in Vihiga County as the coalition intensified its
nationwide campaign to popularise and sell its development agenda ahead of the
    next General Election
