Acting industry colleagues of the late veteran actor, Seputla Sebogodi, have described him as a humorous and easy-going man.
Sebogodi, best known for playing Kenneth Mashaba on the popular TV soapie Generations, died on Wednesday from complications related to diabetes.
Many who worked with him in the entertainment industry said they are still struggling to come to terms with his sudden passing.
Radio presenter and actress Thando Thabethe shared some of her fondest memories of working with Sebogodi.
“I had the honour of working with Ntate Seputla on How to Ruin Christmas, on two seasons. When I met him, he was just Kenneth Mashaba and a big deal. But once I got to know him, he was just a hilarious human being who didn’t look down on us who are his juniors. So, it’s really a sad day, and I’m sending condolences to his family.”
Renowned actor Sello Maake KaNcube expressed his sadness after the actor’s passing.
“We would always bump into each other at shows. One memory of him is when we were doing a play, and it was very hot on that production. But yes, I’m very saddened by his passing.”
