An NBA spokesperson announced that the league wouldn’t take any “further action” into the alleged physical altercation between former Miami Heat teammates Bam Adebayo, 28, and Tyler Herro, 26.

In the aftermath of the incident, Herro told ESPN in an interview that he wanted to “move on” from the incident and was “focused on the next chapter in Milwaukee.”
That appears to be the case for the pair.
“After discussing with the players involved and the NBPA, everyone would prefer to move on from this unfortunate circumstance, and no further action will be taken by the league,” an NBA spokesperson said in reference to the case, per ESPN’s Shams Charania in a post on X.
The incident is said to have occurred at the Resorts World Hotel in Las Vegas on July 10.
Herro had initially worked out at a court inside the facility before Adebayo and the Heat arrived at the same place to train, per the report.

Adebayo is said to have confronted Herro over negative comments that the Bucks guard made about him on social media. The confrontation reportedly got physical, as Adebayo hit Herro close to his chin.retaliating
Heatwas largely healthy when they were teammates. But their relationship reportedly took a nosedive after Herro was mostly sidelined over the last year due to injuries and his issues with integrating into the team’s new offensive plan
Herro watched the summer league game between the Heat and Bucks at the Thomas & Mack Center on July 10. He was also interviewed as the game was going on, but that was before the report of his altercation with Adebayo was circulated.
“It’s all love in Miami,” Herro said when he was asked if it was weird seeing his former team. “I’ve seen a couple of the guys, coaching staff, Chris Quinn, Spo [Erik Spoelstra], the front office guys; we are all good in Miami. Just an opportunity for both sides to reset, get a fresh start, and both are super happy with this.”
