    South Africa anti-immigration leader shot dead, police begin investigation as five suspects impersonating Home Affairs chop arrest

    Authorities for South Africa dey investigate di killing of one of di leaders of anti-immigration movement March and March wey dem shoot.

    Earlier dis month, dem shoot March and March Guateng leader Andile Mvuyelwa Somgxada for outside im home on 4 July, few days afta di June 30 protests.

    According to di police, di movement leader die afta five wey e sustain injuries for di shooting.

    Mr Somgxada na di Gauteng province leader of March and March, di anti-immigration group wey dey organise nationwide protests in recent months, including di June 30 deadline protests.

    For dia statement, South African police say dem don put security team togeda wey go investigate di killing of Somgxada.

    “Dem shoot Mr Somgxada for di driveway of im home for Greenfield, Johannesburg, on 04 July and e die for hospital on 9 July due to im injuries.

    “Di Acting National Commissioner of di South Africa Police, Lieutenant General Puleng Dimpane, in consultation wit di Gauteng Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Tommy Mthombeni, don assemble multidisciplinary team of seasoned detectives and Crime Intelligence officers to lead di investigation into di murder of March and March Gauteng leader, Mr Andile Mvuyelwa Somgxada,” dia statement tok.

    Di police dem receive di “arrest of five suspects for Lephalale, Limpopo, wey dey allegedly disguise as officials from di Department of Home Affairs and unlawfully demand di removal of foreign nationals from Marapong Township.”

    According to di police, di fake officials harass one Nigerian wey dem force to close im shop but dem later find say di pesin get di required documents to live for South Africa.

    “Di incident involve Nigerian national wey dem intimidate and force to close im business afta di group allegedly claim say foreign nationals no dey permitted to operate businesses for South Africa.”
