The Namibia Cricket Ground in Windhoek will host the games in Namibia.
“The return of this prestigious tournament to Africa after 24 years is a landmark moment for cricket. We are confident that South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia will deliver an unforgettable event, showcasing the warmth, passion and rich diversity that make this region truly unique,” ICC chairman Jay Shah was quoted as saying in a press release.
With a new three-stage format that will provide more competitive cricket and improve the fan experience, the 57 matches in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027 will have more context, competitiveness, and consequence.

There will be 21 round-robin games in the Super 7, with the top four teams advancing to the semifinals. In the semifinals, the top Super Seven team will face the fourth-place team, while the second-place team will play the third-place team.
