Afrobeats star Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has secured seven nominations for the 2026 Headies Awards.
The nominations were announced on Tuesday by the organisers of the 18th edition of the awards, themed “Africa to the World”, in a post shared on Instagram.
Wizkid’s seven nominations include major categories such as Song of the Year, Afrobeats Single of the Year, Afrobeats Album of the Year, Best Male Artiste, Digital Artiste of the Year, Producer of the Year and Viewers’ Choice.

The awards ceremony is scheduled to hold in Toronto, Canada, on October 25, 2026.
