‘Cat’ Matlala plea deal collapses
Alleged criminal kingpin Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala’s plea deal has collapsed after the Pretoria Specialised Commercial Crimes Court rejected the agreed sentence and proposed a harsher punishment.
The court heard on Monday morning that Matlala is withdrawing from the agreement that would have seen him turn State witness.

UK man accused of killing wife, daughters expected in court
A British man arrested in connection with the murder of his wife and two daughters is expected to appear in Johannesburg Magistrates Court on Monday.
Ndodana Tshuma was arrested in Kensington on Friday in an operation between the <a href="https://absafricatv.com/el-nino-could-make-south-africas-next-summer-a-scorcher/" title="El Niño could make South Africa's next summer a scorcher”>South African Police Service (SAPS) and Interpol.

Inquest into circumstances surrounding Anele Tembe’s death begins this week
The circumstances surrounding the death of Anele Tembe are set to come under renewed scrutiny when an inquest begins at the Cape Town Magistrates Court this week.
