Nairobi-based DMC Beyond the Plains Safaris is expanding its North American trade partner program following Kenya Airways’ new codeshare with JetBlue, offering single-ticket U.S. access to Kenya for the first time.

NAIROBI, KENYA – Beyond the Plains Safaris, a KATO-registered destination management company (DMC) based in Nairobi, today announced an expansion of its trade partner program for North American travel advisors, timed to a structural shift in U.S.–Kenya air access.

In March 2026, Kenya Airways signed a unilateral codeshare agreement with JetBlue, enabling single-ticket travel from more than 10 U.S. cities into Nairobi for the first time. Combined with growing advisor demand for East <a href="https://absafricatv.com/new-south-africa-skipper-set-to-lead-side-on-namibia-tour/” title=”New South Africa skipper set to lead side on Namibia tour”>Africa itineraries, the company says the change removes one of the largest historical friction points for U.S.-based agents booking Kenya safaris: complex, multi-carrier routing.

“Advisors have been asking us for direct routing into Kenya for years. This is the first time we can offer it,” said John Dante, Owner and Lead Guide, Beyond the Plains Safaris. “Our job now is to make sure the ground experience matches how much easier it’s become to get here.”

The expanded program gives North American travel advisors access to:

    • Net rate and commission-based pricing models, letting partners set their own markup or work on a tiered commission structure of up to 16%
    • Dedicated trip planners and 24/7 in-country support during client travel
    • Private conservancy access, including Laikipia-region properties not available through standard park bookings
    • Registration through the company’s trade partner portal at beyondtheplainssafaris.com/travel-agent

Beyond the Plains Safaris was founded in 2021 and has grown to a 10–20 person operation guiding travelers across Kenya and Tanzania. The company holds a 4.9-star rating across 137 TripAdvisor reviews and a 5.0-star rating across 143 SafariBookings reviews, and was named First Runners-Up for Best Tour Operator in Kenya at the 2025 Tourism Excellence Awards — an announcement distributed via GlobeNewswire and picked up by more than 800 outlets including Yahoo! Finance, the Associated Press, and MarketWatch.

The company is a member of the Kenya Association of Tour Operators (KATO), the East Africa Wildlife Society, and the African Professional Travel Agents (APTA), and operates under full Tourism Regulatory Authority licensing.
