Dhladhla had reportedly told her supervisor that she was unwell, but was allegedly refused permission to go home, a claim that the company continues to deny.
Cartrack CEO Joshua Victor hosted Labour Minister Nomakhosazana Meth during an oversight visit on Wednesday.
Cartrack’s investigation is running concurrently with the Department of Labour’s 90-day probe.
The department said it has appointed specialists to conduct an extensive fact-finding investigation into Dhladhla’s death.
Meth said the investigation will determine whether there is any causal link between allegations of unfair treatment in the workplace and Dhladhla’s passing.
Victor has welcomed the department’s investigation, saying he is confident it will clear the company of any wrongdoing.
“We’ve done thorough investigations, and we’re looking forward to the findings by the Department of Labour, and the investigations will show that the allegations in the media aren’t true.”
Meth has also confirmed that no notice of any labour law violations has been issued to Cartrack at this stage.
