Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Eazyply, OlalekanYekinni, said the initiative seeks to tackle one of Africa’s major employment challenges by connecting skilled professionals with job opportunities across the continent and in international markets.
Speaking during the unveiling, Yekinni noted that rising competition in the labour market has made it increasingly difficult for qualified candidates to distinguish themselves through traditional recruitment methods, underscoring the need for technology-driven hiring solutions.
He explained that the ecosystem features the Eazyply Talent Passport, a digital professional identity that extends beyond the conventional curriculum vitae by presenting verified information on an individual’s skills, work experience, certifications, projects and career achievements.
According to him, the ecosystem also includes Eazyply Business, an AI-powered recruitment platform that allows employers toiring teams and make data-driven hiring decisions from a single platform
Yekinni said the integrated solutions are expected to shorten recruitment timelines, improve the quality of hires and enhance the visibility of job seekers to recruiters, startups and organisations across Nigeria, other African countries, as well as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and other global markets.
“Our vision is simple. We want talented people to be discovered because of what they can do, not because they know the right person,” he said.
He observed that although Africa has a large pool of highly skilled professionals, many still struggle to access opportunities that match their capabilities. According to him, Eazyply is leveraging technology to bridge that gap by making talent more visible and recruitment more efficient.
The CEO disclosed that the platform is also partnering universities, technology training institutions, workforce development organisations and employers to help graduates and professionals create verified Talent Passports that improve their employability and connect them to a growing global talent network.
He revealed that the platform has attracted users from several countries since its launch, reflecting increasing demand for technology that simplifies recruitment while expanding access to employment opportunities regardless of location.
