    • Through the new partnership with Digital Charging Solutions (DCS), clients will have access to over one million chargers across Europe and the UK
    • The charging network spans 29 European countries and includes a range of urban and rural locations

Gaydon, United Kingdom: Tuesday 14th July: A new partnership announced today will enable Range Rover, Defender, Discovery and Jaguar clients to use either their InControl Remote app or any future JLR apps to locate and pay monthly for over one million public chargers throughout Europe from July

Powered by Digital Charging Solutions’ (DCS) platform, which is connected to hundreds of electric charging point operators across the UK and Europe, clients with plug‑in hybrid and electric vehicles will be able to filter for charger availability and speed in their chosen locations across 29 European countries, as well as pay for charging on a monthly basis.

When purchasing a new or used approved hybrid or electric vehicle, clients will be given a complimentary branded charging card, enabling them to use any of the 1.1 million chargers. Existing clients can order a charging card from their retailer or

Range Rover, Defender, Discovery and Jaguar clients will be able to use their app and vehicle navigation system to locate and navigate to a preferred charger on daily journeys, on holiday or when travelling through rural areas. Around Stuttgart, over 16,000 chargers are available, while popular Mediterranean islands like Rhodes, Greece, feature over 200 chargers. In more remote places such as the East Tyrol region in the Austrian Alps and as far north as cities like Tromsoya in Norway, chargers are widely available.

Quality, choice and convenience are critical to the luxury experience we are creating for our electric vehicle clients. Through this new partnership, we are giving clients the power to seamlessly access one of Europe’s most comprehensive charging networks.

Mark Camilleri, Director of Charging and Connected Services

Luxury clients expect quality and reliability in every aspect of vehicle ownership, and public charging is no exception. At DCS, we’re proud to support JLR as they expand their public charging service, ensuring a seamless electric journey for clients.

    Petr Füzék, Commercial Director

JLR’s next generation electric vehicles will also benefit from DCS’s extensive network of European chargers, starting with the launch of Range Rover Electric in 2026.

    Notes to Editors

The growing network of chargers gives our clients the unrivalled confidence to drive, anywhere.

In the UK, over 75,000 chargers are widely accessible in locations such as the Isles of Benbecula, Skye, Islay, Orkney, and Land’s End, as well as popular urban locations such as the All England Club, Wimbledon and Silverstone racetrack.

JLR’s Reimagine strategy aims to deliver a sustainability rich vision of modern luxury by design.

We are transforming our business with the aim to become carbon net zero across our supply chain, products, and operations by 2039.

Electrification is central to our strategy and before the end of the decade our brands will each have a pure electric model, while Jaguar will be entirely electric.

The flexibility of our unique powertrain technologies means we can continue to offer hybrid and ICE vehicles in our ranges as we begin to roll out full BEV options, to match demand in the global transition to electric.

At heart we are a British company, with two design and engineering sites, two vehicle manufacturing facilities, a components and finishing facility, an electric propulsion manufacturing centre, and a battery assembly centre in the UK. We also have vehicle plants in China (joint venture), Slovakia, India, and Brazil, as well as seven technology hubs across the globe.

JLR is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited, part of Tata Sons.
