Metal Packaging Europe (MPE) has expanded its membership with the addition of ALLTUB and TUBEX as new corporate members, while Eastman has joined as an associate member, further strengthening the association’s expertise across the metal packaging value chain.

ALLTUB and TUBEX bring extensive experience in aluminium aerosol cans, tubes and related packaging solutions, while Eastman adds expertise in specialty materials, resins and coatings that support performance and innovation in metal packaging.

According to MPE, the new members enhance its representation across the value chain and reinforce its efforts to advance a competitive, innovative and circular future for the European metal packaging industry.

The latest additions also reflect MPE’s ongoing strategy over the past year to broaden its membership beyond can and tube manufacturers to include companies involved in materials, coatings and other key segments of the metal packaging value chain.

ALLTUB and TUBEX have already been closely associated with MPE’s wider industry network. Both TUBEX and ALLTUB Italia were recognised at the European Tube Manufacturers Association (ETMA) Tube of the Year 2026 awards, presented in Lisbon on June 11.

The membership expansion also aligns with MPE’s wider decarbonisation agenda. The association recently introduced a decarbonisation roadmap for the European aluminium beverage can industry, outlining a pathway towards net-zero emissions. The addition of Eastman, alongside two leading aluminium tube and aerosol can manufacturers, reflects MPE’s focus on strengthening technical expertise in lightweighting, recyclability and materials science as discussions around upcoming European Union circular economy and packaging waste regulations continue.
