Renfro Brands plans to expand its use of Inspectorio’s AI-powered supply chain <a href="https://absafricatv.com/europe-builds-the-blueprint-for-social-platform-accountability/” title=”Europe Builds The Blueprint For Social Platform Accountability”>platform to streamline regulatory compliance and improve network visibility, according to a recent press release.
The sock and legwear maker already uses Inspectorio’s quality risk management software and plans to start leveraging technology for responsible sourcing, regulatory compliance and traceability, Inspectorio said in the June 17 release. Risk-based quality control helps companies monitor suppliers’ quality performance and identify potential problem areas, per Inspectorio’s website.
Combining Inspectorio products will allow Renfro to replace manual processes with AI-driven workflows, strengthening the company’s ability to manage regulatory requirements and measure supplier performance, according to the release.
Renfro will also be able to check supplier compliance with social and environmental regulations specific to sourcing locations in North America, Europe and Asia, per the release.
“Working with Inspectorio, we will continue to deliver quality, innovation and style across our diverse brand portfolio while ensuring the highest levels of social and environmental compliance,” Todd Roeder, Renfro VP of compliance and vendor services, said in the release.
Renfro is taking advantage of the automated intelligence layer, called Paramo, embedded in Inspectorio software, a spokesperson for the software company said in an email to Supply Chain Dive. The AI technology orchestrates network operations by connecting business data with AI copilots, generative AI capabilities and autonomous agents, according to the company’s website.
Renfro did not respond to a request for comment.
Renfro joins other brand-driven consumer product manufacturers turning to artificial intelligence to improve supply chain operations. Hormel Foods uses o9’s AI-enabled software to sharpen demand forecasts, while household chemicals company WD-40 has tapped AI features in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce and Atlas.
More recently, fertilizer maker Scotts Miracle-Gro reported expanding its partnership with software company Kinaxis to eventually unify supply chain planning, decision making and execution on a single AI-assisted platform.
