    Brenntag, the global market leader in chemicals and ingredients distribution, announced a new distribution agreement with BASF. This agreement is part of the expansion of the portfolio with a wide range of innovative cleaning products for Brenntag Specialties Home Care, I&I sectors in South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Ethiopia.

    Brenntag has deep expertise in the Home Care, I&I industry and brings exceptional market reach and a strong supply chain network. Through our collaboration with BASF, Brenntag expands its offering with a broad portfolio of ingredients designed to support cleaning performance across a wide range of Home Care and Industrial & Institutional Cleaning applications to the market. BASF’s solutions contribute to effective surface cleaning through advanced surfactant systems that help remove grease, dirt, and other common soils, while supporting formulation stability and sustainability objectives.

    Brenntag will distribute BASF Home Care and Industrial and Institutional cleaning ingredients in seven Sub-Saharan African markets.
    The range covers surfactants plus laundry-care inputs for stain removal, fabric protection and colour protection at lower wash temperatures.
    The partners say the deal widens local access to scalable hygiene solutions and technical support for cleaning formulators.

    In laundry care, the portfolio offers ingredients that are designed to support stain removal, fabric protection, and color protection, even at lower wash temperatures, helping reduce energy consumption while supporting effective cleaning performance. Together, these innovations provide customers across Sub‑Saharan Africa with reliable, efficient, and scalable cleaning solutions that meet evolving hygiene and sustainability demands.

    Together, Brenntag and BASF are creating new opportunities to deliver high performance solutions to a broader range of customers across the Home Care and I&I Cleaning industry.
