Therabody unifies global operations on Oracle NetSuite

Therabody has standardised its core operations on Oracle NetSuite across its global business.

The wellness technology company has replaced disconnected systems with a single cloud platform spanning finance, inventory, order management and supply chain as it expands internationally.

Best known for the Theragun massager, Therabody sells wellness and recovery products online and through major retailers in more than 60 countries across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. Rapid growth in its product range, sales channels and geographic footprint had made its previous systems and manual processes harder to manage.

That strain showed up in day-to-day operations. Limited visibility across the business slowed decision-making and made inventory planning more difficult as demand for connected health and wellness products increased.

The system includes NetSuite OneWorld for financial management across subsidiaries and NetSuite Advanced Order Management for fulfilment. Therabody says the order management software helps it process thousands of orders a day during peak periods and ship them on time.

The company is also using NetSuite’s AI Connector Service to link AI models to operational data while keeping existing governance and security controls in place. With support for Model Context Protocol, staff can query operational data in natural language, automate order and inventory workflows, and streamline reconciliation and reporting.

The changes are intended to reduce manual work, shorten financial close processes and improve accuracy. Teams also get more immediate access to information across the business.

“With rapid growth, we’ve seen firsthand how a complex technology stack becomes difficult to scale,” said Yash Murali, Chief Technology Officer, Therabody.

“NetSuite has helped us bring our operations together with AI capabilities that simplify and accelerate workflows. We now have a strong foundation to support our next stage of growth, which means our team can spend more time on strategic initiatives that move the business forward,” Murali said.

Founded by Dr. Jason Wersland in 2016, Therabody has grown from the early success of the Theragun device into a broader wellness brand. Its product line now includes RecoveryAir, PowerDot, TheraFace and TheraCup, alongside digital wellness content and in-person services under the Reset by Therabody brand.

Standardising operations on one platform is intended to support that broader footprint. For consumer products businesses, stock planning, order flow and financial reporting become more difficult as they add markets, channels and subsidiaries.

NetSuite, part of Oracle, says Therabody’s deployment reflects how consumer goods companies are trying to reduce operational friction as margins come under pressure. The software provider says a unified data model and automation tools can give management better oversight of inventory, fulfilment and finance.

Julie Drimel, Senior Vice President of Customer Growth at Oracle NetSuite, linked the project to cost control and complexity management.

“Consumer goods businesses don’t have room for inefficiency – the margins are too tight and the complexity is too high,” said Julie Drimel, Senior Vice President of Customer Growth, Oracle NetSuite.

“Therabody uses NetSuite to get real visibility and control across its global operations, and they’re using AI built into everyday workflows. That’s what lets them scale efficiently and get their professional-grade wellness technology into more people’s hands,” Drimel said.

For Therabody, the result appears to be a simpler operating structure as wellness brands extend beyond single-product success into broader product ecosystems. The new setup gives it one system for finance, inventory, order management and supply chain, alongside a reported 45% reduction in technology costs.
