Troops of Operation HADIN KAI have arrested a suspected Boko Haram/Islamic State West <a href="https://absafricatv.com/south-africa-welcomes-usa-u20s-for-15s-tour/” title=”South Africa Welcomes USA U20s for 15s Tour”>Africa Province (ISWAP) logistics supplier during a successful ambush operation in Borno State, intercepting food supplies believed to be destined for terrorists operating in the Jakana–Mulam axis.

Thelogistics route, intercepted the suspect identified as Kazalal Modu while transporting assorted food items and other materials believed to be intended for Boko Haram/ISWAP fighters
Items recovered from the suspect included five cartons of spaghetti, 191 packs of digestive biscuits, two black nylon bags containing sugar, torchlights, a bicycle used for transportation, and the sum of ₦10,000 in cash.

Military authorities said the operation forms part of sustained efforts by Operation HADIN KAI to degrade the operational capability of Boko Haram and ISWAP by targeting not only their fighters but also the network of collaborators responsible for supplying food, fuel, medicines and other essential items.
The strangulation operations have increasingly become a critical component of the counter-insurgency campaign in the North East, denying terrorist groups access to logistics that sustain their operations and limiting their ability to regroup after battlefield losses.
